Riding Hats must always be worn when either riding or with the horses and should reach the current safety standards. All hats that are up to the current standard should have a turquoise hat tag (that we have put on) if your hat does not have one of these on, please speak to Zoe.
PAS 015:1998 or 2011* with BSI Kitemark
If you are purchasing a new hat, please ensure it reaches the current safety standard, we recommend not purchasing a hat with a peak on the front (as these cannot be used for pony club mounted games), and finally it is best not to purchase a second hand hat, as you cannot guarantee that the previous owner has not fallen of.
